Quality is important! Each e-liquid that we offer has been manufactured according to European or American health manufacturing and traceability standards.
Choose an e-liquid more or less concentrated in nicotine depending on the strength of cigarettes you were used to. The nicotine level of an e-liquid is expressed in milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of the product (mg/ml).
The more nicotine an e-liquid contains, the more “hit” it will have (contraction of the pharynx during the passage of vapour). In general, a smoker who wishes to quit begins by testing an e-liquid dosed at a rate between 6 mg/ml and 12 mg/ml. After all, it’s all about the fit and the person. It also depends on the material used. Some clearomizers deliver much more vapour than others. The smoker will also set himself the objective of gradually lowering the nicotine level of his e-liquids.
- Extra-light cigarettes – nicotine e-liquid 6 mg/ml
- Light cigarettes – nicotine e-liquid 12 mg/ml
- Strong cigarettes / without filter – nicotine e-liquid 16 mg/ml
These comparisons are for information only because the nicotine absorbed by the electronic cigarette consumer will depend on the frequency of use. By also purchasing an e-liquid of the same flavour at 0 mg/ml of nicotine, you will have the opportunity to dilute the concentration of your liquid as you please.
Everyone is different, so we recommend experimenting with different flavours and dosages to find what works best for you. At first glance, the beginner vaper will prefer to turn to tobacco flavours, but you will see that it is also very pleasant to vape fruity, minty or gourmet e-liquids. Something cool when it’s hot, something sweeter when it’s cool, for example.
Important Recommendations
Nicotine is a stimulant alkaloid at low doses, quickly eliminated by the body, but toxic at high doses and can be addictive if consumed regularly. The use of nicotine e-liquids is therefore strongly discouraged if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you present a serious risk of cardiovascular disease.
If you experience headaches, nausea, or heart palpitations after using your e-cigarette, it’s likely that you’re vaping too much or taking in too much nicotine. Then reduce your consumption or alternate with a less nicotine e-liquid, or even an e-liquid without nicotine. If the symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with water.
In case of accidental ingestion, immediately call the poison control centre near your home.
Store your e-liquids in a dry and cool place, away from light.
Finally, remember to close your nicotine e-liquids with their secure caps and never leave your e-liquids and electronic cigarettes within reach of children.
Composition of the e-liquid
- Propylene Glycol (or PG) has the particularity of vaporizing from 50° and favours the “hit” sought by the smoker. It is commonly used in the cosmetics, medical and food industries as a flavour enhancer in food and beverages, a moisturizing and consistency agent in cosmetics, or an active ingredient in vaccines, cough syrups or capsules. in gel.
- Vegetable Glycerin (or VG) also vaporizes at low temperatures. It produces more vapour than propylene glycol, with a slightly sweet taste. On the other hand, its viscosity limits the lifespan of atomizers. Vegetable glycerin is also often used in a wide variety of food, cosmetic and medical products (humectant, solvent, emulsifier, E422 additive in Europe).
- Water and alcohol are used to thin the mixtures, the latter also serving to promote the “hit”. Their combination in e-liquids is not always present and rarely exceeds 5%.
- Natural or synthetic flavours give their flavours to the steam.
- Nicotine, finally, in liquid and pure form, is obtained by extracting tobacco leaves. As said before, it is an alkaloid which, in low doses, has a stimulating effect and is quickly eliminated by the body, similar to caffeine. On the other hand, it is not an innocuous substance. So be sure to follow the recommendations above.
These products, consumed in the required proportions, therefore do not present a health hazard.
